Argentina sent Nigeria Parking Yet Again

The Super Eagles of Nigeria was defeated yet again against Argentina in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Nigeria did their best but it was enough as Lionel Messi scores the opening goal of the game then Victor Moses put in a fine penalty before Marcos Rojo scores the winner in 86 minutes of the game.

The crunch game against Argentina could have gone either way. Super Eagles simply failed to take chances.

Messi scored and could have made it 2 if not for Uzoho who denied him by tipping the freekick to hit the post.

Super Eagles got a penalty to equalize and Ighalo had two clear chances to score in the second half.

The call for the second penalty was not justified because the defender got his head to the ball first before it bounced off his hand and still, the ball fell directly in the path of Ighalo who blasted it outrageously wide.

Nigeria lost concentration while defending in the last 5 minutes as Rojo was left alone in the box to score the second goal that gave the Argentine the winner.
